Abstract
Abstract Disclosed is a color image pickup device comprising an image pickup device for converting the image beam obtained through the color separating filter into an electrical signal, a detecting device for detecting the signal amount near the sampling frequency of a certain determined color of the color separating filter from the outputs of the image pick up device or detecting device for detecting the color saturation of the object image and band control means for limiting the brightness signal band of the object image in accordance with the output of the detecting device.
