Abstract

Abstract A geodesic frame assembly and method of making a frame assembly with a plurality of identical hub assemblies interconnected with flexible struts. The hub assemblies have rotatable members connected to ends of the struts. The struts are attached to the members along chord lines so the members rotated during erection of the frame assembly. A cable operably connected to a winch cooperates with outer hub assemblies to erect the frame assembly and hold the frame assembly in the erected configuration.
