Abstract
Abstract A solid polymer electrolyte having (a) a matrix of linear poly(ethylene imine) having the formula (--CH 2 H 2 NH--) n ; and (b) a metal salt which is LiI, LiClO 4 , NaI, NaBr, KI, CsSCN, AgNO 3 , CuCl 2 , CoCl 2 , or Mg(ClO 4 ) 2 , wherein the salt is dissolved in and distributed throughout the poly(ethylene imine) matrix and from more than zero to 0.10 moles of salt are used per mole of monomer repeat unit, --CH 2 CH 2 NH--.
