Abstract
Abstract A protective-hood fastening for portable angled grinders is disclosed. The protective hood is attached by a tensioning strap and screw to, and can be released from, a spindle collar on the gear housing. A securing element prevents the hood from slipping off the housing and into the grinding disk.
