Claim 1
Independent Claim
98 words
A method for detecting an electrical condition of a remote electrical load connected to a source voltage line comprising the steps of: coupling said load to a common voltage line by means of a load switching circuit having a drive line input thereto; connecting a load monitor circuit at a drive line output thereof to said drive line input of said load switching circuit by means of a drive line; providing a test signal at said drive line output; and detecting a response from said load switching circuit on said drive line in response to said test signal.
Claim 2
Independent Claim
