Abstract
Abstract N-substituted 2-methylnaphthylamides of the general formula I ##STR1## where R is an unsubstituted or substituted furyl, isoxazolyl, oxazolyl, isothiazolyl, thiazolyl, 1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl, 1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-yl, 1,2,4-thiadiazol-5-yl, 1,2,5-thiadiazol-3-yl, 1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl or C 1 -C 5 -alkyl radical, or the group --CH 2 --Y--R 1 , where Y is oxygen or sulfur and R 1 is C 1 -C 6 -alkoxyethyl or C 1 -C 6 -alkoxyethoxyethyl, or R is C 2 -C 5 -alkenyl, C 2 -C 5 -alkynyl, C 1 -C 5 -alkoxy, C 1 -C 5 -alkoxycarbonyl or C 3 -C 7 -cycloalkyl, and fungicides containing these compounds.
