Abstract The electronic thermometer comprises a temperature sensor which senses the temperature of an object, a prediction temperature computing apparatus for deriving a converged temperature according to the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor, apparatus for providing a range of error associated with the predicted converged temperature computed by the prediction temperature computing apparatus, and a display for displaying the range of error.
