Abstract

Abstract An electrical rotary machine having permanent magnets, is provided with an armature core and field core. The permanent magnets are disposed within either the armature core or the field core of the machine. The permanent magnets forming adjacent magnetic poles are disposed in coaxial circles at different radii from the axis of the rotation of the machine, with the ends of these cores spaced from each other when viewed along the axis of rotation. The ends of cores are overlapped and spaced radially from each other.
