Abstract
Abstract A process is provided for using a reactivated catalyst composition comprising a crystalline zeolite material having a silicon/aluminum atomic ratio of at least about 3.5, said catalyst composition having been deactivated by contact with steam. The reactivation method involves the necessary steps of contacting said steam-deactivated catalyst composition with a metal salt solution, followed by contacting said metal salt solution contacted catalyst composition with an aqueous ammonium ion-containing solution.
