Abstract
Abstract A stereo-differentiating catalyst containing Group VIII metal is prepared by contacting a Group VIII metal-containing acidic zeolite with an optically active amine. Methods are disclosed for utilizing the catalyst in hydrocarbon conversion processes, e.g., hydrogenation and hydroformylation.
