Abstract

Abstract A method of producing ultrapore, pyrogen-free water comprising providing a source of water, filtering the water to remove suspended solids and organics, deionizing the water to remove dissolved solids, and introducing substantially pure ozone into the deionized water at a concentration of at least two milligrams of ozone per liter of deionized water to thereby produce ultrapure, pyrogen-free water.
