Claim 3
Dependent Claim
52 words
An internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein said injection from the main injector means during the closed condition of the intake control valve means is commenced at about the middle of the intake stroke of each cylinder and ended at about the end of the intake stroke of each cylinder.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
40 words
An internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein said injection from the main injector means during the opening of the intake control valve means is attained at a timing not in the intake stroke of each of the cylinders.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
51 words
An internal combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein said engine is provided with a plurality of cylinders, said second injection control means comprises means for detecting at least one predetermined crank angle in an engine cycle and means for operating each main injector means simultaneously at said predetermined crank angle.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
