Abstract
Abstract This invention provides a urokinase complex adsorbable by fibrin characterized in that it comprises heavy chain of high molecular weight urokinase as coupled with heavy chain of plasmin by one or more S-S bonds and a process for preparing the same.

A process as defined in claim 4 wherein the intermolecular disulfide interchange reaction is conducted by causing a large excess of 5,5'-dithio-bis-(2-nitrobenzoic acid) to act on the heavy chain of high molecular weight urokinase to obtain a 3-carboxy-4-nitrophenylthio-heavy chain of high molecular weight urokinase and reacting the plasmin heavy chain with the resulting 3-carboxy-4-nitrophenylthio-heavy chain of high molecular weight urokinase.
