Abstract
Abstract A device for maintaining films and panels in close tolerance registration. The device includes an upper leaf and a lower leaf which are selectively joined together by zero-tolerance snap connectors. The upper leaf and lower leaf are adapted to improve device wear characteristics and, as well, to improve the operation of the system which uses the registration device of the instant invention.

A registration device comprising, a pair of planar members having relatively large surface area, said planar members fabricated of a material which is selected to be substantially transparent to a specified radiation, connector means mounted at two or more corners of said pair of planar members to permit said planar members be selectively connected and disconnected, and registration means mounted at at least one of said planar members for establishing registration of said pair of planar members and materials held therebetween.
