Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 93 words
In the process for preparation of crosslinked, water-swellable polymers wherein an olefinic monomer or olefinic monomers are polymerized in the presence of a crosslinking agent at temperatures from 0° to 130° C., and the polymerization is initiated by high-energy radiation or chemical catalysts, the improvement comprises said crosslinking agent being 0.001 to 2% by weight, based on monomer to be polymerized, of a compound of the formula ##STR14## wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are identical or different and each is hydrogen or alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 93 words
