Abstract

Abstract A single substantially dominant genetic factor which confers an extra leaf phenotype in corn plants provides for the enhanced production of corn in such plants. Seed corn bearing the genetic factor Lfy (Inbred 101Lfy/Lfy) was deposited at the National Seed Storage Laboratory, Fort Collins, Colo. in March, 1983, and granted laboratory serial no. 174,429 ZM 10235.
