Abstract
Abstract An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprises a layer containing at least one disazo pigment represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R 1 and R 2 each represent hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; R 3 represents methyl, ehtyl or C 3 -C 10 linear alkyl; and X represents a residue necessary to complete an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or heterocyclic ring, substituted or unsubstituted.
