Color-photographic recording material

Claim 1

A colour-photographic recording material which, in at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, an interlayer and/or a protective layer, contains a light-stabilizing amount of at least one polyalkylpiperidine compound as a stabiliser, wherein the polyalkylpiperidine compound is of the formula I ##STR94## in which R is an OH group in the 2-position, 4-position or 6-position, R 1 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, a group of the formula II ##STR95## or a group of the formula III ##STR96## R 2 is C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, a group of the formula III or a group of the formula --CO--Y--X, R 3 and R 4 independently of one another are C 1 -C 8 -alkyl and, in addition, R 4 can, together with the group --(C n H 2n )--, form a C 5 -C 12 -cycloalkyl radical, n is a number from 1 to 20, m is 1 or 2, A is a direct C--C bond if m=1 or a radical ##STR97## if m=2, Y is --O-- or --N(R 5 )--, wherein R 5 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 18 -alkyl, C 3 -C 12 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 12 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, C 7 -C 14 -aralkyl, C 7 -C 14 -alkaryl, C 2 -C 11 -alkoxyalkyl or a group of the formula IV ##STR98## M is a direct bond, --O--, --S--, --S--S--, --SO--, --SO 2 -- or a group --CH 2 OCH 2 --, --CH 2 SCH 2-- , --CH(R 8 )-- or --N(R 9 )--, wherein R 8 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl or C 3 -C 8 -alkyl or C 3 -C 8 -alkyl interrupted by 1-3 sulfur atoms, and R 9 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 18 -alkyl or unsubstituted or C 1 -C 4 -alkyl-substituted phenyl or benzyl, X is a group of the formula ##STR99## or of the formula ##STR100## a is one of the numbers from 0 to 10, b, c and d independently of one another are the number 0 or 1, it being necessary for the sum a+b+c≠0 if d=1, R 6 is hydrogen or methyl, R 7 is hydroxyl, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, C 3 -C 6 -alkenylmethyl, C 3 -C 4 -alkynylmethyl, C 7 -C 14 -aralkyl, glycidyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkyl substituted by halogen, cyano, --COOR 12 or --CON(R 13 )--(R 14 ), a group --COR 15 , --COOR 12 , --CON(R 13 ) (R 14 ), --CH 2 --CH(R 16 )--OR 17 , --SOR 18 , --SO 2 R 18 , --OR 12 or --OCOR 15 , R 12 being C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, alkyl, cyclohexyl or benzyl, R 13 being C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, alkyl, cyclohexyl, benzyl, phenyl or C 7 -C 10 -alkylphenyl, R 14 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, allyl, cyclohexyl or benzyl, or R 13 and R 14 , together with the N atom to which they are attached, forming a 5-membered or 6-membered heterocyclic ring, R 15 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl, chloromethyl, C 5 -C 8 -alkyl, C 7 -C 14 -aralkyl, phenyl, C 7 -C 10 -alkylphenyl or phenyl, phenylmethyl or phenylethyl which are substituted by 1 or 2 C 1 -C 4 -alkyls and 1 hydroxyl, R 16 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 3 -C 4 -alkoxyalkyl, phenyl or phenoxymethyl, R 17 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, a group --COR 15 or --CON(R 13 ) (R 14 ) or a group of the formula ##STR101## in which R 1 is hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, and R 18 being C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, phenyl or C 7 -C 10 -alkylphenyl, or R 7 is a group of the formula ##STR102## in which Q is a group --(C r H 2r )-- wherein r is one of the numbers 2 to 12, or Q is C 4 -C 8 -alkylenylene, C 5 -C 12 -cycloalkylene, phenylene, xylylene, bitolylene or a group --CO--(C r H 2r )--CO--, Z is --O-- or --N(R 19 )-- wherein R 19 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 18 -alkyl, C 3 -C 12 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 12 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, C 7 -C 14 -alkaryl, C 7 -C 14 -aralkyl, C 2 -C 11 -alkoxyalkyl or a group --COR 20 , --COOR 21 , --CON(R 22 ) (R 23 ), --CH 2 --CH(R 24 )--OR 25 , --SOR 26 or --SO 2 R 26 , R 20 having one of the meanings defined for R 15 or being a heterocyclic ring, R 21 having one of the meanings defined for R 12 , R 22 having one of the meanings defined for R 13 , R 23 having one of the meanings defined for R 14 , R 24 having one of the meanings defined for R 16 , R 25 having one of the meanings defined for R 17 and R 26 having one of the meanings defined for R 18 , or R 19 is a group of the formula IV, R 10 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 18 -alkyl, C 7 -C 23 -phenoxyalkyl, phenyl, C 7 -C 14 -aralkyl, C 2 -C 11 -alkoxyalkyl or a group ##STR103## R 11 is hydrogen, --OR 27 , --OCOR 28 , --N(R 29 )--COR 28 , --OSO 2 R 28 and --N(R 29 )--SO 2 R 28 , R 27 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, allyl or benzyl, R 28 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl, chloromethyl, C 5 -C 8 -cycloalkyl, C 7 -C 9 -phenylalkyl, C 7 -C 10 -alkylphenyl, phenyl or a group of the formula ##STR104## and R 29 being hydrogen, C 1 -C 12 -alkyl, C 5 -C 8 -cycloalkyl or benzyl, and W being one of the groups ##STR105## in which R 30 is methyl or ethyl, with the proviso that, if W is a cyclic ketal structure, d is 0 and the sum a+b+c must also be 0 and, if W is a hydantoin structure, d must be 0 and the sum a+b+c must be ≠0, the repeatedly mentioned radicals and symbols always being as defined in the first instance and, with repeated occurrence of the group ##STR106## R always being in the same position.
