Abstract
Abstract A process for producing modified polyester products by the graft polymerization of vinyl monomers having an acidic group and replacing the acidic group with an alkali metal salt, the replacing being carried out after dyeing. By this process, decrease in strength and color fastness of polyester fibers can be avoided while giving the polyesters characteristics similar to those of cotton.
