Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 41 words
A method for reducing the amount of oxygen in an oxygen-containing aqueous medium which method comprises adding to the aqueous medium an effective amount for the purpose of a hydrazine-free treatment consisting essentially of a stable solution of hydroquinone and mu-amine.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 41 words
A method for reducing the amount of oxygen in an oxygen-containing aqueous medium which method comprises adding to the aqueous medium an effective amount for the purpose of a hydrazine-free treatment consisting essentially of a stable solution of hydroquinone and mu-amine.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 13 words
A method according to claim 1, wherein said solution is an aqueous solution.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 28 words
A method according to claim 2, wherein said treatment is added in an amount of from about 0.01 to about 10,000 parts per million parts of aqueous medium.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 18 words
A method according to claim 1, wherein the ratio of hydroquinone to mu-amine is about 1:1.3 or less.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 36 words
A method according to claim 3, wherein, on a weight basis, the ratio of hydroquinone to mu-amine is about 7:1 or less and the total concentration of hydroquinone in said solution is about 45% or less.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 18 words
A method according to claim 5, wherein said ratio of hydroquinone to mu-amine is about 7:1 to 1:99.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 20 words
A method according to claim 6, wherein the total concentration of hydroquinone in said solution is about 7% to 45%.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 20 words
A method according to claim 6 or 7, wherein said ratio of hydroquinone to mu-amine is about 5:1 to 1:10.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 30 words
A method according to claim 3 or 6, wherein said treatment is added in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 100 parts per million parts of aqueous medium.
