Abstract
Abstract A carbonate polymer such as a bisphenol-A homopolycarbonate containing a small amount of a metal salt of an aromatic sulfonamide, a metal salt of a perhalometalate complex, or a metal salt of an inorganic acid, a halogenated organic compound and, optionally, a melamine, exhibits improved flame retardant properties.
