Abstract

Abstract Described is an electronic ignition timing control device in which the low voltage distribution system is resorted to in place of the high voltage system making use of a distributor. There is provided angle sensor means the output of which is initiated at an angle advanced from the maximum ignition advance angle of each engine cylinder and terminated at the start-time ignition angle. The ignition time is controlled in terms of a lag from the angle advanced from the maximum ignition advance angle of each cylinder at which the angle sensor output is initiated.
