A controlled release insecticide composition in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate which consists essentially of: (a) an insecticidal effective amount of Imidan, (b) an amount of acrylic resin effective to controllably release said Imidan, said acrylic resin comprising 30 to 100 wt. % of a C 6 -C 18 alkyl acrylate monomer, (c) an effective amount of a surfactant capable of aiding in the water emulsification of the composition and enhancing the wetting and sticking action of the composition, and (d) an effective amount of a common organic solvent in which said Imidan, said acrylic resin and said surfactant are dissolved.
