Abstract
Abstract Citric imide acids represented by the formula: ##STR1## are disclosed, wherein R is a hydrocarbon-based radical having up to 30 carbon atoms. The disclosed citric imide acids are useful as additives in lubricants, especially as friction reducing agents in motor oils and other lubricants.
