Claim 1
Independent Claim 59 words
A process for stabilizing anodized capacitor foil comprising passing said foil from an anodization step through a stabilizing bath containing a borate solution at a temperature of at least 80° C. and at a pH of 8.5 to 9.5 for from 2 to 8 minutes, and reanodizing, the cycle of said stabilizing and reanodizing being performed at least twice.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 59 words
A process for stabilizing anodized capacitor foil comprising passing said foil from an anodization step through a stabilizing bath containing a borate solution at a temperature of at least 80° C. and at a pH of 8.5 to 9.5 for from 2 to 8 minutes, and reanodizing, the cycle of said stabilizing and reanodizing being performed at least twice.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 13 words
A process according to claim 1 wherein there are three of said cycles.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
A process according to claim 1 wherein said temperature is 90° to 100° C. in said bath.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 17 words
A process according to claim 1 wherein said solution is a 0.001 to 0.05 M borax solution.
