Abstract
Abstract A camera support for use in stabilizing a handheld camera against movement, wherein the camera is fixed to a pedestal having two attached support arms which contact the photographer's body to stabilize the camera. Preferably, the two support arms contact the shoulder and sternal regions of the photographer's body for the best stabilization of the camera. Both support arms are adjustable, and the angular orientation and length of the second support arm may be adjusted independently of the angular orientation and length of the first support arm. Other aids to supporting the camera may be used in conjunction with the camera support.
