Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 103 words
A moldable composition consisting essentially of from 90 to 99.5% by weight of a thermoplastic resin selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl chloride, a mixed polymer containing mainly vinyl chloride, and any mixture thereof, and from 0.5 to 10% by weight of a stabilizer-lubricant composition consisting essentially of: (a) a stearic acid ester of pentaerythritol which has an OH number between 120 and 600 and an acid number below 15, and (b) a tribasic lead compound, wherein 15 to 1500 parts by weight of tribasic lead compound are present for each 100 parts by weight of said stearic acid ester of pentaerythritol.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 103 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 60 words
The moldable composition of claim 1, wherein the stabilizer-lubricant composition additionally comprises from 0 to 50% by weight of other auxiliary process additives selected from the group consisting of fatty acids having about 12 to 22 carbon atoms, paraffins, low molecular-weight polyethylene, and natural or synthetic waxes, based on the total weight of the stabilizer-lubricant plus other auxiliary process additives.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
The moldable composition of claim 1 which additionally contains plasticizers, pigments, dyes, fillers, or any mixture thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 13 words
The moldable composition of claim 1, wherein the thermoplastic resin is polyvinyl chloride.
Claim 6
Independent Claim 88 words
A method of stabilizing molding compositions based on polyvinyl chloride and/or mixed polymers containing mainly vinyl chloride, which comprises adding to said molding compositions a stabilizing amount of a stabilizer-lubricant composition consisting essentially of: (a) a stearic acid ester of pentaerythritol which has an OH number between 120 and 600 and an acid number below 15, and (b) a tribasic lead compound, wherein 15 to 1500 parts by weight of tribasic lead compound are present for each 100 parts by weight of said stearic acid ester of pentaerythritol.
