Abstract

Abstract A system for providing a visual color display of multi-spectral and/or multi-sensor data particularly that provided by a trichroic infrared scanning system, which includes the assignment of visible color signals to such data in a manner to maximize color discrimination of the viewer and allows the use of a conventional color display, particularly a CRT, to produce a real time color picture of the image that the data represents.
