Claim 1
Independent Claim
59 words
A high molecular weight randomly branched polycarbonate of an aromatic dihydric phenol; a polyol in which the hydroxyl groups are attached to saturated aliphatic carbon atoms in an amount sufficient to produce a thermoplastic randomly branched polycarbonate which is substantially free of crosslinking; and a carbonate precursor selected from the group consisting of a carbonyl halide and a haloformate.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
18 words
The high molecular weight randomly branched polycarbonate of claim 1 in which the aromatic dihydric phenol is bisphenol-A.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
