Abstract
Abstract A crosslinked binder for crosslinked single and double base propellant is provided. The binder is prepared from nitrocellulose, certain polyester diols which contain both aliphatic and aromatic ester functionality and a polyfunctional isocyanate having an NCO functionality of at least three. The propellant prepared from the binder exhibits improved mechanical property aging characteristics under conditions of high humidity.
