Abstract
Abstract The subject invention relates to compositions of matter having the following structural formula: ##STR1## In this formula, R 1 represents a C 8 -C 20 alkyl radical, R 2 stands for a C 1 -C 5 alkyl radical, and n is a number, 4 through 15. These compounds are low foaming and have acceptable biodegradability. They are particularly useful in the formulation of automatic dishwashing detergents.
