Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 46 words
In a process for the storage of heat comprising heat transfer to and from a heat storage medium wherein the heat storage medium changes phase as it absorbs or releases heat, the improvement comprising the use of ethylene carbonate containing hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane as the heat storage medium.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 46 words
In a process for the storage of heat comprising heat transfer to and from a heat storage medium wherein the heat storage medium changes phase as it absorbs or releases heat, the improvement comprising the use of ethylene carbonate containing hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane as the heat storage medium.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 33 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the ethylene carbonate contains from 0.001 to 10 weight percent, based on the total composition, of hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane which minimizes supercooling of the ethylene carbonate as it cools.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 22 words
The process of claim 2 wherein the ethylene carbonate contains 0.01 to 1 weight percent, based on the total composition, of hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane.
