A composition comprising a. A major amount of polymeric resin comprising a thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate resin in admixture, with b. a minor amount of a filler having reactive groups which are normally reactive with aromatic polycarbonate resin, and c. a minor amount of a silane of the following formula R'--(CH.sub.2).sub.n Si(OR).sub.3 where R' is an organic radical selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, vinyl, amino, mercapto, acetoxy, epoxy, and methacryloxy, n is an integer of about 3 to about 6, and R is alkyl having up to four carbon atoms.
