Abstract
Abstract Air- and/or oven-drying lubricant paint compositions are disclosed which are useful for providing dry-film lubrication for substrates. The compositions comprise a binder resin dissolved in an organic solvent, optionally containing an extender, and further containing a polyalkylene wax which may be modified or unmodified. The dry-film lubricant provides a coefficient of friction which is lower, more uniform and of a narrower range than the compositions of the art.
