Abstract
Abstract An automatic focusing control system used for a television camera is disclosed. The control system comprises an optical system, means for modulating a focal length by a modulating signal, means for sensing an output signal corresponding to the focal length from an image signal obtained from the modulating means, means for sensing a focusing error signal from the output signal and the modulating signal, and means for controlling or adjusting the focal length and superimposing the error signal upon the modulating signal.
