Abstract
Abstract An orthoalkylated aromatic amine is produced at a high selectivity from the reaction of an aromatic amine having at least one hydrogen atom at the ortho-positions and a primary or secondary alcohol under heating in the presence of a catalyst containing, as a main constituent, iron oxides.
