Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 3
Claim 1
Independent Claim 81 words
Recording apparatus comprising: linear motor means; ink jet means for ejecting liquid droplets, said ink jet means adapted for reciprocal movement by said linear motor means; and means for varying the timing of ejection of liquid droplets between the reciprocal movement of said ink jet means in a first direction and the reciprocal movement of said ink jet means in a second direction, wherein said means for varying the timing of ejection of liquid droplets avoids printing distortion in either direction.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 81 words
Recording apparatus comprising: linear motor means; ink jet means for ejecting liquid droplets, said ink jet means adapted for reciprocal movement by said linear motor means; and means for varying the timing of ejection of liquid droplets between the reciprocal movement of said ink jet means in a first direction and the reciprocal movement of said ink jet means in a second direction, wherein said means for varying the timing of ejection of liquid droplets avoids printing distortion in either direction.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 39 words
The recording apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the timing of the ejection of liquid droplets is determined in accordance with a signal generated by a scale plate for detecting the position and speed of said ink jet means.
