Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 11
Claim 1
Independent Claim 52 words
A puzzle comprising three triangular tiles, three quadrilateral tiles, and one pentagonal tile, wherein said tiles may be assembled on a horizontal surface to form a regular pentagon, wherein each apical angle of each said tile is a multiple of 36 degrees, and the sides of said tiles occur in three lengths.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 52 words
A puzzle comprising three triangular tiles, three quadrilateral tiles, and one pentagonal tile, wherein said tiles may be assembled on a horizontal surface to form a regular pentagon, wherein each apical angle of each said tile is a multiple of 36 degrees, and the sides of said tiles occur in three lengths.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 106 words
A set of polygonal tiles to be assembled on a horizontal surface, wherein a subset of said set of tiles may be assembled to form a regular pentagon, wherein each apical angle of each said tile is a multiple of 36 degrees, wherein the ratio between any side of any of said tiles and any side of any other of said tiles is an integral power of the golden section, wherein at least one of said tiles is an isosceles triangle, wherein at least one of said tiles is a pentagon having five equal sides and sucessive apical angles of 36°, 108°, 108°, 36° and 252°.
Claim 4
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 31 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 2, wherein at least one of said tiles is a rhombus having two apical angles of 72° and two apical angles of 108°.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 33 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 2, wherein at least one of said tiles is a trapezoid having three equal sides and successive apical angles of 72°, 72°, 108° and 108°.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 29 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 2, wherein at least one of said tiles is a quadrilateral having successive apical angles of 36°, 144°, 72° and 108°.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 54 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 2, wherein the side lengths occur in three values, the ratio of the long length to the middle length being equal to the ratio of the middle length to the short length, wherein the long length is equal to the short length plus the middle length.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 29 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 2, wherein at least one pair of tiles is similar in shape, but proportional in size according to the golden section.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 15 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 7, wherein no two tiles are congruent.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 16 words
A set of polygonal tiles as in claim 8, the number of said tiles being ten.
