Abstract

Abstract Compositions and method for imparting shampoo resistant body and settability to human hair comprising the application of an aqueous solution containing a precondensate of glyceraldehyde and resorcinol under conditions promoting in situ polymerization. Tendency for yellowing of gray hair is substantially avoided by incorporation in the solution of urea.
