Abstract
Abstract An asphalt-modified polyester composition comprising an asphalt which has first been reacted with a polycarboxylic acid or anhydride and a polyalcohol; the modified asphalt is then reacted with a polyester and a vinyl aromatic monomer to produce a molding composition which is ideally suited for combination with a glass fiber reinforcement in the molding of rigid bodies reinforced with, for example, glass fibers.
