Abstract
Abstract A color photographic light-sensitive material is described containing a dye-releasing redox compound having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein G represents a hydroxy group or a group providing a hydroxy group by hydrolysis; Col represents a dye or a dye precursor; R 1 and R 2 , which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group or an aromatic group, and R 1 and R 2 together can form a ring; R 3 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group or an aromatic group; R 4 can represent an alkyl group or an aromatic group; R 5 can represent an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a halogen atom or an acylamino group; n is 0, 1 or 2; and R 4 and an R 5 together can form a heterocyclic ring, R 1 and R 4 together can form a heterocyclic ring, R 1 and an R 5 together can form a ring, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 together can form an adamantyl ring, and the total number of carbon atoms of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R n 5 is more than 7.
