Abstract Disinfectant/cleanser compositions retaining broad spectrum germicidal activity but exhibiting significantly reduced eye irritancy potential comprise a quaternary ammonium compound, a non-ionic surfactant, d-limonene, a phosphate builder, an eye irritancy reducing compound, water, and optionally a lower aliphatic alcohol.
