Abstract
Abstract Novel erythromycin compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is hydrogen or methyl, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are disclosed. They exhibit excellent antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, acid stability and in vivo activity.
