Electrode for electrochemical processes
Abstract
Abstract An electrode comprising a current-conducting base having deposited thereon an active mass of the following composition, in percent by mass: ______________________________________ silica 10-90 platinum group metal oxides 5-45 oxides of passivating metals 5-45. ______________________________________ The electrode of this invention is useful as anodes in the production of chlorine and caustic soda, as well as in electrolytic processes of producing chlorates and hyperchlorites.
