Abstract
Abstract A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described, comprising at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer, wherein at least one layer contains a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R 1 and R 2 each represents hydrogen, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, or a heterocyclic group; R 3 represents hydrogen or an aliphatic group, and X represents a divalent aromatic group. The light-sensitive material provides high-contrast negative images and good dot image quality.
