Abstract

Abstract An antenna including a conductive support mast serving to support one or more bays of circular arrays of dipole assemblies around and spaced from the mast. Each dipole assembly consists of at least two dipoles connected in parallel. The lengths and angles of the dipoles with respect to a plane perpendicular to the support mast are adjusted and the dipole assemblies are fed so as to provide circularly polarized radiation broadside to the antenna.
