Abstract
Abstract Disclosed are copolymers of ethylene oxide and epoxy-n-alkane of 12 to 25 carbon atoms. These copolymers exhibit greater viscosity in water or in aqueous acid solutions than do ethylene oxide homopolymers of comparable molecular weight and this greater viscosity is more stable to mechanical shear.
