Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 75 words
A receptacle containing a test medium such as a cell culture or biological specimen consisting of a base plate and wall member, the wall member having a flat smooth bottom self-adhering to the base plate in liquid-tight manner, the wall member being formed of noncytotoxic hydrophobic elastomeric synthetic material compatible with the test medium and defining with the base plate a plurality of independent chambers, and a plurality of test media in the independent chambers.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 75 words
A receptacle containing a test medium such as a cell culture or biological specimen consisting of a base plate and wall member, the wall member having a flat smooth bottom self-adhering to the base plate in liquid-tight manner, the wall member being formed of noncytotoxic hydrophobic elastomeric synthetic material compatible with the test medium and defining with the base plate a plurality of independent chambers, and a plurality of test media in the independent chambers.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 14 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, wherein the synthetic material is a silicone rubber.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 14 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, wherein the chamber tapers toward the base plate.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 18 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, wherein the height of the chamber ranges from 0.1 to 20 mm.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 19 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, wherein the base plate is made of a plastic material compatible with cells.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 23 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, wherein the base plate includes pores permitting the passage therethrough of molecules, particles, cells, or cell projections.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 14 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, including a loose-fitting cover, having an overlapping edge.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 10 words
A receptacle according to claim 1, including an adhesive cover.
