Abstract
Abstract Natural and synthetic textile materials and blends thereof are disclosed containing at least one water-soluble, neutral alkanolamine, ammonium or mixed alkanolamine and ammonium salt of a phosphoric acid wherein said acid is selected from the group consisting of orthophosphoric acid and polyphosphoric acid. Polyester-cotton fabrics are rendered antistatic by treatment with these ionic bonded salts in the proportion of about 0.5 to about 10 percent by weight based on the weight of the textile fabric.
