Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 43 words
Auditory ossicle prosthesis comprising a rigid plate and a depending tubular shaft formed integrally as a one-piece construction from a biologically inert ceramic material, the surface of the plate on the side away from the shaft being provided with a plurality of grooves.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 43 words
Auditory ossicle prosthesis comprising a rigid plate and a depending tubular shaft formed integrally as a one-piece construction from a biologically inert ceramic material, the surface of the plate on the side away from the shaft being provided with a plurality of grooves.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 52 words
Prosthesis according to claim 1, wherein the axis of the shaft is inclined at an angle of approximately 30° with respect to the grooved surface of the plate, and the grooves are parallel with a plane passing through the axis of the shaft and normal to the plane of the gooved surface.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 22 words
Prosthesis according to either one of claims 1 or 2, wherein the cross-section of said shaft is uniform along its entire length.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 31 words
Prosthesis according to either one of claims 1 or 2, wherein said ceramic material comprises alumina ceramic having an Al 2 O 3 content of at least 99.0 percent by weight.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 26 words
Prosthesis according to claim 3, wherein said ceramic material comprises alumina ceramic having an Al 2 O 3 content of at least 99.0 percent by weight.
